autopilot operates in two modes: cloud mode and local mode. What data we handle depends on which mode you use.

Local mode

In local mode, everything stays on your device. URLs are processed locally to determine routing. Rules are stored in a JSON file on your machine. No data is transmitted to any server. No analytics, tracking, or third-party services are used.

Cloud mode

When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email address, and a unique account ID on our server. This is used solely for authentication and account management.

Your routing rules and browser profile names are stored on our server so they can sync across your browsers and devices. URLs are transmitted between your extension instances through our server when a link is routed to another browser or computer. We do not log, store, or analyze the URLs being routed.

If you subscribe to Premium, your billing is handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We do not store your payment card details — Stripe handles that directly.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not use analytics or tracking. We do not share your information with third parties, except Stripe for payment processing and Google for authentication.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data by signing out of the extension and contacting us via GitHub. In local mode, uninstalling the extension and running the uninstall script removes everything.
